What We Do
So many are in need of help. The roof is leaking, or the home has a safety issue, but when many are struggling just to make ends meet, the extra money for repairs just does not exist.
FundRaise the Roof knows that sometimes the wait for help is just too long, and we’re here to help.
Our Mission:
FundRaise the Roof was created to help fill the gap when a family is struggling and their house is in dire need of repair. We aren’t talking about upgrades that are wanted to improve the home’s value, but just having a safe, warm, dry home to live in. Sometimes we are helping connect our community members with programs that are already available to them. Other times, we’re doing the work to get the job done.
FundRaise the Roof is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose goal is to reduce social, economic, and environmental disparities by providing free home repairs throughout Steuben County. We imagine ourselves becoming the largest provider of free home repairs to eligible homeowners in Steuben County. While we directly impact individuals and families, we also improve economic stability by keeping long-term, existing homeowners in their homes. This stabilizes our neighborhoods in our community.
